Testing with two accounts
Perspectives provides a framework for co-operation. A single isolated installation is no fun. In this section you will set up a second account in the same browser. We will then connect the two and establish a chat context between them.
A little background may help to understand the steps to come. Two installations are never in direct contact with each other in the sense that they share a common data store. Instead, installations send each other updates whenever a user adds, changes or removes a context or role or an attribute of a role (like the name "My first chat!" you entered). These updates are sent through a system that is not unlike email: each installation has a 'mailbox' at an address, that other installations can send updates to. Such a system is called a message broker. Hence, to be able to connect to peers, you as a user must obtain an account with such a broker.
